Does sugaring hurt?

Hair removal tends to be uncomfortable, but it’s the first appointment that’s the worst. Sugar is made from just sugar, lemon juice and water. There are no chemicals or hidden ingredients like you will find in wax. This means no redness, uncomfortable, raw skin or bumps the day after.

Sugar is applied in the opposite direction of hair growth and flicked off in the same. This ensures the bulb is fully removed at the root of the hair which results in the breakdown of the follicle wall, ultimately resulting in less grow back and eventually none at all.

Sugar is sanitary, you’ll never see us double dip into the pot with anything but a brand new glove. It’s water soluble, so any unwanted sugar can be removed with a wet, warm rag.
